Bongolanon Falls can be found in a first class Municipality of Magpet particularly in Barangay Bongolanon in the Province of Cotabato. It's a 3 hours and 12 minutes ride or 127 kilometers from Davao City.
The falls is on the foot of Mt. Apo and maintained by the local tribe "Bagobo". The water is cold so you need to be brave enough to swim.
The entrance fee is P30.00 and the cottages is only P150.00. So since it's summer the crowd cannot accommodates the facilities.
How to get here?
From Davao City
Take a bus from Ecoland Terminal. You look for a signage going to Kidapawan or Cotabato. The trip is good for Three (3) hours so you need to bring some foods during the ride. The fare is P130.00 only.
From Kidapawan City
Take a tricycle and ask the driver to drop you to crossing barracks, that's beside the Iglesia ni Cristo Church. Then from that point take a Habal-Habal going to Bongolanon, it's a 45 minutes ride and the fare is P85.00.
