Trekking is one of the best thing to do when you go travel. So as a beginner I tried to explore Paminahawa Ridge in Barangay Impasugong, Bukidnon. It's a 255km estimated or more than 6 hours of travel from Davao City.
We departed from Davao at 10pm and we arrived at Impasugong by 3am. Since we got lost we started the trek at 6am.
Along the way you will pass the rivers and ridges including the fogs and clouds and even big ants.
The trek is 2 hours based on our estimate and you need to pay PHP 250.00 for the local guide.
When you reached the top it's a great feeling.. It feels like you are in heaven.. lol (I'm just exaggerating here)
so since we started late, we are not able to see the sea of clouds.
Our next stop is... Alalum Falls.
from Paminahawa Ridge we went immediately to Alalum falls, it's about 34 km or 1 hour and 24 minutes ride located in Barangay Kisolon, Sayre Highway. Before taking our Lunch we went first here for a pictorials.
So after taking our lunch, we suppose to enjoy the water falls in CEDAR but unfortunately due to heavy rains the water is so brown! you know what i mean! lol
Cedar Trees is still part of Barangay Impasugong. Cedar Trees is also known as the Man-made forest in Mindanao. (I am referring the Man made forest in Bohol)
Part of our tour is the visit of the Monastery of Transfiguration. So since I'm wearing a short pants I am not allowed to enter even in the grass right after my post. So good for me since I am not Catholic. lol
Another stop is Lake Apo. It is a crater lake located in Barangay Guinoyoran in the City of Valencia but we took the road going to Maramag. Because of heavy rains, I was not able to enjoy the pictorials and other activities.
But instead we went to Overview. It's a overview nature and culture park in Kipolot, Quezon still part of Bukidnon Province.
Last stop is one of the famous destination in Davao - Bukidnon Road which is the Seagull Mountain Resort but we are not there for the place but for the Suman and Tsokolate.
