Lake Macaduhong: Expectation VS Reality

Another summer destination can be found in Davao City!... Yes! you read it right! This is just in Davao City. It's called Lake Macaduhong, located at Malabog, Davao City. The access road is from Panabo City. Travel time is about 1 hour or 33.9 km.

What's in Lake Macaduhong?

In Lake Macaduhong, you can enjoy the Bamboo Raft and you can even ride a Rubber Boat but fees and charges applied.

The entrance fee is PHP 20.00 and you can enjoy and swim in the potable water from the lake. ( I just dont know if its true! but you can drink at your own risk! lol).

Now here's my review... (I won't say anything! lol)

Well, like I said, I won't say anything! But this is what your 20.00 can do! hehe (Imagine 20.00 pesos Cornetto Commercial)

So since we are not able to swim here because of the crowd, we went to the other side because they have fewer visitor.

How to get there?

From Panabo City go to Emcor Cabaluna and look for a Habal-Habal. Actually the terminal of the Habal-habal going to Malabog is near Petron Gasoline Station in front of the Bus Terminal in Panabo City. The fare is actually Php70.00- 80.00 up to Malabog Proper and another Php 20.00 going to the lake. But if you want a hassle free then go for Php 100.00 each and the driver will take you directly to the lake. Don't forget to ask the number of the driver so that he can arrange you going back to the origin :)

How about the road? Well, All I can say is good luck to rough roads and dust! lol

Anyway the place is good if well developed. It's also a perfect place to relieve stress. So if you are still confused, then I must say! You should GO!
