Diwanag Festival features different churches in the world.

This year's Diwanag Festival initially opened last December 01, 2018 and formally opened last December 07, 2018 held in front of the Municipal Hall of Montevista, Comval Province. During the celebration, the people of Montevista showcases lighted different churches in the world for this year's theme.
A Christmas-lighting competition per barangay that gives the municipality a colorful glow during night time.
The festival was visited not just the local but also the travelers in the country. You will also witness different Christmas Tree designs and even the Thousand Roses, Cave of Lights and Tunnel of Lights for those people who love to take their selfies.
This concept was made to be considered as the light capital of the Davao Region.

How to get there?
Via Davao City
- From Ecoland Terminal, Take a bus or a van going to Monkayo / Butuan / New Bataan.
- Ask the conductor to drop you to the Municipal Hall of Montevista where the Christmas booth is located.
- The fare ranges from PHP150-180.00
