Mati City is one of the tourist destination when it comes to surfing. It is one and only city in the Province of Davao Oriental. It's a 177 kms and  3-4 hours travel away from Davao City..

Upon entering the Province you will see a signage of Davao Oriental and you can stop over for pictorials. But if you are riding a bus then it's impossible. lol

Along the way before reaching the Mati City proper another stop over you will have. At the viewing deck you will see the famous sleeping dinosaur. It's a land formation that formed like a dinosaur located at Badas Point, Barangay Dawan.

Skimming and Surfing at Dahican Beach is definitely fun! (But i dont know how to surf! Haha) I just love watching them. Dahican is facing the pacific ocean so it's expected the waves of the ocean is huge.

We visited the Blue Bless beach resort, The amenities is good. They have complete facilities and nice environment but i don't like their beach. So instead of staying their we decided to move.

So we end up staying overnight at Masao Beach Resort. The place is very quiet and it has no guests that time. The place is very cheap. The cottage we stayed has own CR but no aircon. What we like here is that we can ask them to cook our sea shells that we bought from the fisherman. So we had a heavy dinner here and enjoyed the rest of the night playing and drinking. (The common things we do during overnight)

Early morning in our second day we went back to Dahican and explore more with their beaches. We enjoyed a lot of staying here because everyone is watching those surfers playing the huge waves of the water. We are all amazed of the exhibitions of the surfers and believe me everyone is clapping. Everyone is taking pictures and enjoying the heat of the sun.

After the beach, we went also to their Provincial Capitol and have a picture taking. Then we went directly to Baywalk to catch the "I Love Mati"  Standee.  Nearby it has a restaurant that caters delicious filipino dishes. It was a sumptuous lunch and everyone is full.

Our Mati trip is a big savings, each of us spend Php 888.00 only in a group of five (5). Exclusive of Gasoline that my friend Cholo volunteered to shoulder the said expenses. I forgot the inclusion because i lost our itinerary. But anyway it was a nice trip and unforgettable 'cause i thought my wallet was lost, good thing it was only in my friend's bag. The funny thing is, he forgot that my wallet is in his bag which he found at the convenience store because of my carelessness. Hahaha
